You MAY, without asking
- Use the name "MTL Explorer" in factual, descriptive references — e.g. "This dashboard is powered by MTL Explorer", "a fork of MTL Explorer", "compatible with MTL Explorer" — as long as it is truthful and does not suggest that your product is endorsed by or affiliated with the project.
- Use the logo at its original aspect ratio in unmodified form to link back to the official project.
- Write articles, tutorials, videos and blog posts about MTL Explorer.
You MUST NOT, without written permission
- Use "MTL Explorer" or a confusingly similar name as (part of) the name of your own product, service, company, domain, app store listing, or package.
- Redistribute a modified version of MTL Explorer under the name "MTL Explorer" or with the MTL Explorer logo. Modified builds must be renamed (e.g. "TrailZ", "MyFork") and their logo changed.
- Use the Marks in a way that suggests endorsement, sponsorship or certification by the project.
- Register the Marks (or confusingly similar variants) as your own trademark, domain, or handle.
Forks and downstream builds
If you fork MTL Explorer and distribute binaries or a hosted service:
- Keep the copyright notices and the
LICENSE/documentation/legal/NOTICEfiles intact. - Rename the product and remove the MTL Explorer logo from any user-visible surfaces (splash, about dialog, favicon, app icon, marketing).
- You may keep a line such as "Based on MTL Explorer" in your About page.
